Part of UNFPA's work is the training of health professionals to guarantee the best medical care possible, especially for the most vulberable women and girls. Today, in the province of Huíla, training in obstetric and neonatal emergency care for health workers at health units in the municipality of Quilengues. This training is important for improving the quality of care provided by health professionals and health services, it aims to increase the technical capacity of professionals, creating institutional adaptation, ensuring the treatment and survival of children from Gender-Based Violence, whilst ensuring care and support for teenagers and young people.
Also in Huíla province, working with communities is essential to guaranteeing the right to Sexual and reproductive health. 260 dignity kits for adolescents and young people were delivered to boys and girls in the presence of municipal technicians, community managers and community leaders.
