Statement by Rev. Dr. KWABENA OPUNI-FRIMPONG - Ordained Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), at the International Conference on Sustainable Development and Peace promoted by the Council of Christian Churches in Angola (CICA) in partnership with the Conference of Churches of All Africa (CITA) and the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The objective of the conference was to reinforce the commitment made at the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), held in Cairo, Egypt, in 1994, on sexual reproductive health and rights, gender equity and women and youth empowerment, and the contribution of churches on these areas.
