Achieving the rights of equality and dignity

On the 30th of November, a workshop on the achievement of the rights of equality and dignity was held at the Special Education School of the Rangel neighborhood, in reference to the International Day of People with Disabilities, celebrated on the 3rd of December.

The event was attended by Mr. Paulo Gomes, Head of the Department of Inter-sectorial Intervention, representing the National Director of INEE (National Institute of Special Education) Laureano Sobrinho, Mr. Michael Daniel, National Director for Inclusion of the Person with Disabilities, representing MASFAMU, Marina Coelho, Assistant Representative of UNFPA Angola, Ms. Rosa Miguel, representing Dr. Soraia Kalongela, National Director of Pre-School Education and Primary Education and Mrs. Ana Isabel Angelina, Executive Director of the Youth Support Center (CAJ).

UNFPA partners, namely, AfriYAN represented by the project coordinator, Diamantino da Silva, LARDEF represented by Idalina Bota and CAJ represented by the project coordinator, Olga Lourenço, were responsible for the lecture on sexual and reproductive health.
